Has 25+ years diverse experience of working in the field of environmental and water management including 15+ years experience as a leader and coordinator of complex multi-stakeholder driven projects funded by major international donors including EC, ADB, WB, EBRD, UNDP/GEF and various private clients including BG, BA, LASMO, AMEC, Agip KCO, DEFRA. Extensive experience in business development and

project implementation in UK and 17 overseas countries including

Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, Belarus, Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Central Asia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bangladesh.


In-depth technical knowledge combined with advanced team management expertise and strong leadership skills. Proven track record in successful project delivery and building good working relationships with stakeholders. Project experience includes institutional capacity building, river basin management, irrigation, water quality, integrated pollution prevention and control, energy efficiency, waste management, environmental management and audit, environmental impact assessment and contaminated land.


The recent high profile international assignments successfully completed:

- Team Leader (2008 - 2013) EU technical assistance Transboundary River Management for the Kura River Basin Phase II and III to help Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan reform water management to implement EU Water Framework Directive
